As guidance for July I see it as me delving into my shadow, healing myself in the dark and seeking liberation from the ways I have lied to myself and made myself smaller
Wow...what a rich spread! My draw was: JULY - Knight of Wands; AUGUST- The Hermit; SEPTEMBER- Page of Pentacles; OCTOBER- Six of wands (haven't narrowed down which ancestor this card pertains to, perhaps my Grandmother, because she keeps showing up for me, but could also be my first Stepdad who also often shows up); NOVEMBER - Heirophant; DECEMBER - Hight Priestess. I actually see where this is going. It's an amazing and hopeful spread.
I have a question: I live in the Southern Hemisphere so this is our winter solstice. The days will be getting longer as we head towards summer and year’s end. How do we read the “give up for wintering” card when September here is the beginning of spring? Thanks!
I had written a different list for Southern Hemisphere and forgot to add it! Just went in and did it. For you, it’s about moving into light versus moving into darkness. Here’s the link to the post so you can get the correct list. Please note October stays the same. https://nancyhendrickson.substack.com/p/your-second-half-map-what-the-next
I dig this spread. I do a grand tableau for this very purpose twice a year, on January 1st and July 1st. Good weather forecast.
I have a friend who does it on New Year’s and her birthday.
Thank you for the addition, Nancy.
I'm in the Southern Hemisphere and had already adapted your northern month titles and pulled my cards.
Now I'll revisit them in light of your new info.
Apologies! So forgetful of me!
I used the Light Seer's Tarot and drew:
July - the Devil
August - Eight of Cups
September - Seven of Wands
October - the Emperor
November - the Hermit
December - Page of Cups
You have a very interesting group of cards. I think July is going to be an important one for both of us as you have the devil and I have death!
The Devil is always tricky.
As guidance for July I see it as me delving into my shadow, healing myself in the dark and seeking liberation from the ways I have lied to myself and made myself smaller
The Devil is good at finding our weak spots. Shadow work is good for healing those spots, that’s for sure.
And I used the Dreamy Moons tarot and pulled:
July: The Fool
August: Justice
September: Page of Cups
October: Page of Stars (pentacles)
November: Three of Crystals (swords)
December: Page of Wands
Wow. 3 Pages and 2 Majors. Interesting six months!
I find it so helpful--in terms of learning the cards--when you share your own spread and analyze it like you did here.
I used Bonestone and Earthflesh tarot and I’m excited to see where this takes me.
July - The Farmer and His Wife, 6 of Cups
August - Lady of the Lake, Knight of Cups
Sept - Oakley, 7 of Pentacles
Oct - MARIE LEVEAU - QUEEN OF WANDS!
Nov - The Blessing, Four of Wands
Dec - The Serpent Fire, Ace of Wands
July - recognize what has grown
Aug - seek the abundance, accept the invitation
Sep - preserve the subtle treasures
Oct - claim your authority
Nov - accept the blessing - allow yourself to be honored
Dec - begin again from a wiser place - the ace is pure potential
Reading as much from the images as the tarot meanings
Yes...it has already started. 🪔

With that Hierophant and Priestess it appears as if some meaningful inner work will be going on!
I used the modern witch tarot…October card is Knight of Cups…not sure what ancestor this is so will tend to them all and see who comes forward ❤️🔥
Whoever that is, what a lovely card to draw
