Do you know about these
free features included in your subscription to Sage and Shadow? If not, here’s my take on what they are and how to use them. Whether you are a paid or free subscriber, you have access to all three features, although I use Chat more than the other two.
Chat
Chat is a place where you can have conversations with other subscribers. It’s a bit like an old-fashioned forum. Any subscriber can start a chat or reply to a chat. All chats can only be seen by our subscribers. Here’s an example of one I posted a day or two ago.
There were four replies, and hopefully there will be more engagement as Chat becomes familiar to you. And, hoping you jump in and start a new chat of your own. By the way, you will not receive an email notification of a Chat.
The image below shows you (in the app) where to find the Chat icon and then the + to add your own.
Threads
Threads are something I can post when I want to toss out a question or start a conversation. You’ll receive it in your email as it’s more like a regular post. I’ve only created one Thread so far, and you’ll find it (and subsequent ones) in the Archives. Here’s a Thread - you can tell it’s one by the little bubble icon by the title of the Thread. As with all posts, you can like or reply. Threads can be seen by anyone, subscriber or not.
Notes
Notes can be seen by anyone and are like the old Twitter tweets. If you’re in the app, tap the Home icon and then the orange + button. It’s that simple. Notes are not subscriber-only reads. This is one I just posted. As you can see, you can like it, reply to it, restack it, or share.
So how can you get
the most from Chat, Threads & Notes?
Get the app
Join Chat and get involved with other Sage and Shadow readers
When you receive an email with a Thread, it’s because I’m hoping for feedback. Thank you in advance for feeding back :)
Check out Notes - you may find other accounts there to follow.
Thanks for being here - and I look forward to hearing your thoughts and ideas in the app and on the posts!

I’m sure I will not be the only one grateful for this information!
