In the Company of Cards
is both a YouTube channel and a Substack. If you’re into political predictions, commentary about culture or race, please consider subscribing to both.
If you don’t know Erika’s Lenormand skills, watch one of her YouTubes and you’ll see a master reader at work. Her book (The Language of Lenormand), her Substack, and videos have taught me more about reading this system than any other book I’ve read. For most of us tarot readers, Lenormand is almost incomprehensible. I’m happy to say Erika’s methods changed all that for me.
So get over to YouTube, subscribe, watch and learn. Also, if you leave a (non-personal) question in the comments she typically will answer in the next video. In fact several of her recordings are answering political, international, and financial questions.
This BackerKit Project is Close to Ending
The project is Mystic Storyteller, a Writer’s Guide to Using the Tarot. Our friend, Stacey Williams-Ng of La Panthere Studio is the publisher, Amanda Hughes the author, art by Roz Kazaz.
I reviewed the deck and 500-page book last month, so click here for all the details. In brief, this deck and book are the support system you need if you’re hoping to write a book in the near or distant future.
Written by an author, for authors, this campaign ends in only a few days. Become a backer of just the deck, or the deck, book, and bunches of other goodies.
If you’re interested in combining ‘book tarot’ with
intuition, you have to order a copy of Mat Auryn’s The Psychic Art of Tarot.
I had the pleasure of reading an early copy of the book and can attest to the fact that the finished version doesn’t disappoint. It’s always been my belief that the best tarot readers learn the system, and THEN work into blending their factual knowledge with their psychic abilities.
I’ve been reading for 40+ years and know tarot backwards and forwards. Does that make me - or any long-time tarotist - a good reader? Not necessarily. But add to that your clairvoyance, clairaudience, and all the other clairs and you’re on your way to being among the best.
If this sounds like the kind of reader you want to be, then Mat’s book will guide you on your psychic journey. Among other things, learn how to
tap into your senses
read tarot like a storybook
work with light
use tarot for mediumship
work with Spirit and energy
I highly recommend The Psychic Art of Tarot for anyone who wants to take their readings from average to extraordinary. The book will be released on September 8, so plenty of time to pre-order your copy. This is definitely a must-have-on-the-bookshelf book for any tarot reader.
See you next week with a new Divination Fun. And even if you don’t read tarot, give it a whirl. I think you may surprise yourself!
