The List
Coming January 7, 2026, for paid subscribers: The Witch’s Ledger — 12 months, 12 witches, 12 ways to make magic. More about this next month.
I will open for Yule readings on December 10, with the goal of completing everyone’s Sabbat readings by Winter Solstice (December 21). I’ll be offering two different readings - hopefully one of them will call to you :)
December will be the last month for the 12 Houses of You. We will close the year with a look at the house of spirituality, secrets, and the subconscious. As a Capricorn 12th house, I’m clearly doing a lot of karmic family work this lifetime.
I have been an Emily Dickinson fan since my early teens. Her herbarium (see below) inspired me to begin pressing leaves and flowers again - something I gave up decades ago. It’s such a good thing for me. Perhaps it’s time for all of us to take up something we forgot we loved. This is the press I bought.
I’ve shared this before, but want to mention it again. The University of Minnesota published a good article on Exercises for Developing Your Intuition. The eight exercises are excellent.
I know we’re going into winter, but lately I’ve been so drawn to plants and flowers. Shortly I’ll be looking for shade plants for the balcony, but in the meantime I’ve been playing with Stacey Williams-Ng’s Southern Botanic Oracle. I drew a card asking what I most need to know as we move into winter. The card was Periwinkle (see top of this post) - I had to laugh as it’s the card of legacy and the ancestors. You can’t make this stuff up.
I loved this article by Jennifer Louden titled We Are All Witches Now. As we all try to find a place in this world that feels like it fits, I think it’s a question well worth asking - and answering.
We are currently under Mercury Retrograde (in Sagittarius) until November 29. As the Yoga Journal wrote: As Mercury retrogrades through this Jupiter-ruled sign, we review our own truth, meaning, and purpose. We turn around, look within, and observe as well as rethink the stories, narratives, and perspectives that have shaped our understanding of truth, meaning, and purpose. For me, this is a perfect way to begin my journey to year’s end. You?
I’ve been reading How to Read the Akashic Records and have had some tiny level of what I think is success. The records are defined as a storehouse of our soul’s journey and I wish I knew more about them - do you know an expert in this area?
I found a wonderful Crystal Encyclopedia online. I have a beautiful piece of Amazonite but couldn’t remember any specifics. From the site, Amazonite is: Called the Stone of Courage and the Stone of Truth, Amazonite empowers one to search the self and discover your own truths and integrity. Check it out when you need to know more about any of your crystals.
Until next time . . .

I would ask you, with an open mind, to read Sylvia Browne's "Journey of the Soul" series. The first book is very simple but the second and third explore further. It is written with her Guides. Gnostic beliefs including Azna, our Mother God. Our origins and reincarnations. How we are each millions of years old, all of this kept in the Akashic records. It is my bible and I would love to teach some day. Sylvia was an authentic messenger wrapped authentically as well.
I saw the Vinca Minor images (love the botanic aesthetic by the way!) I got excited as I've been dealing with it as an invasive species, and found out about its applications as a chemotherapy chemical! I look forward to reviewing those intuitive exercises from the U of M, thank you!
